Syed Sadat Hussain Shah has emphasized that the active participation of women is essential for building a stable, progressive, and economically strong Pakistan. He shared these views while addressing the “Growing Women Rebuild Pakistan” ceremony, a platform dedicated to promoting women’s empowerment and social development.
Speaking on the occasion, Syed Sadat Hussain Shah said that women form the backbone of society and their involvement in national development is vital. He stressed that empowering women through education, skills training, and equal opportunities can strengthen social stability and accelerate economic growth. According to him, no nation can move forward without fully utilizing the potential of half of its population.
He highlighted the importance of women’s role in preserving culture and heritage, stating that women contribute significantly to shaping values within families and communities. He also paid tribute to women leaders and youth, particularly women leaders, who are actively working to bring positive change at the grassroots level.
Syed Sadat Hussain Shah urged the government to take stronger steps to support women’s inclusion in the cultural, economic, and development sectors. He emphasized that special attention must be given to women living in remote and underdeveloped areas, where access to education and professional training remains limited. He added that by providing skills and resources, women can become financially independent and contribute meaningfully to national progress.
Addressing the issue of gender equality, he stated that discrimination must be eliminated so women can participate confidently in all fields of life. He stressed that teaching women practical skills and providing equal platforms will allow them to stand on their own feet and play a constructive role in society.
The ceremony was attended by social leaders, professionals, and representatives from different sectors who appreciated the message of inclusion and empowerment. Participants agreed that empowering women is not only a social responsibility but a national priority for sustainable development.
